Violinist Eglė Venslovaitytė-Navarro was born in Lithuania, where she pursued her academic studies and obtained a Master’s degree in Chamber Music from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2016. In 2019, she continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the violin class of Philippe Graffin.
Between 2012 and 2017, Eglė was an active member of the Swiss Animato Foundation Orchestra, performing throughout Europe in cities such as Vienna, Budapest, Salzburg, and Berlin.
As a chamber musician, she was a member of the Camerata de Davos (Switzerland) from 2014 to 2017 and took part in numerous chamber music festivals in Seville and Valldemossa (Spain), Hiiumaa (Estonia), Brussels, and Florida. From 2016 to 2019, she was also a chamber musician at Professor Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri’s Bell’Arte Foundation in Belgium.
She has performed with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, and, in Denmark, with Orkester Norden.
Her collaborations also include the Animato Foundation Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Chamber Orchestra, the Chapelle Musicale de Tournai, CASCO Phil, the Ensemble Orchestrale de Bruxelles, and the EuroSymphonic Orchestra.
She currently serves as concertmaster of the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra and violin teacher in the British Junior Academy of Brussels.
For the past eleven years, Eglė has also been a yoga teacher, helping her violin students develop a comfortable posture and prevent injuries.
