Born in Chile, David Navarro Turres obtained his first masters degree at the National Conservatory of Chile in clarinet and chamber music. After studying in Berlin, he obtained a masters degree in conducting at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles.
He was selected for scholarship by celebrated leaders Benjamin Zander and David Zinman to participate in their master classes in London and Zurich. In Summer 2015, he led several concerts in Chile as guest conductor of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Antofagasta.
Today he leads the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra as head conductor and musical advisor. He also puts to use his conducting talents within choral groups, such as La Psalette de Bruxelles, Chorus Erasmus and Nuovo Marco.
